Description: SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY This very rare guitar is one of the very few limited production instruments crafted for Les Paul's 90th Birthday Party at the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. It bears Les' signature (hand-signed by Les) across the lower bout. Never played. Museum Quality. Absolutely no defects of any kind. Built on a Supreme model platform, with gold plated hardware and frets, it is a "Goldtop" Supreme made before the color was available on the model. The "goldtop" Supreme was not offered otherwise until Gibson began the release of the "Guitar of the Month Series". (That instrument was more of a "Bullion Gold" than this actual Goldtop version) It is known that one instrument was given to Les Paul, but there the facts become muddy. Most of these guitars were quietly offered at Gibson's major national chain-type dealers, and almost immediately the very limited number edition sold out. Gibson has confirmed an edition consisting of 90 instruments, one for each year leading to the 90th birthday. Certificate of authenticity from Gibson included. A regular edition Supreme lists at an MSRP of $5,190, and retails at $3400. This never again to be produced and extremely rare model, "90th Birthday Les Paul", hand signed by Les himself, is offered to the discriminating collector or investor. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY. No Overseas shipping. Confirmed addresses Only.
