Forced to Move........Our honorable landlords , Torrington Downtown Partners LLC, have recently made comments regarding our move to the press.

We regret their position and are sorry that our Torrington location is no longer viable for the operation of our business. We will miss our Northwest  Corner friends and special clients. We look forward to the prospect of new opportunity where business and functional relationships still rely on integrity as the standard of operations.

However, Barking Dog Guitar Traders, LLC Firmly Stands Behind the Following Facts:

• Torrington Downtown Partners, LLC has not renewed our lease,  has never negotiated toward a renewal, and has never bothered to respond to our attempts to discuss renewal.
  
  

• They have seen fit to not compensate us for 40 days of partial and full closings that resulted from their negligence and inability to provide adequate heat this winter. These documented boiler failure heat outages occurred intermittently from 1/15/2011 through 4/30/2011.
  
  

• They have refused to discuss or cover the balance of a loss caused by damages to our instruments as a direct result of their negligence in not providing adequate heat.
  
  

• As of August 23, 2011 there have still been no final repairs or replacement to the heating system in question, and it remains in an unreliable state of functionality for the coming Winter.
  
  

• They provided us with no instruction, notification, updates, or health related info regarding the recent sewage spill that occurred to the basements at 83 Main Street and affected adjacent business properties under their management.
  
  

Again, we are sorry for their position and will miss our local friends and clients.
